Her research addresses rural decline, agricultural abandonment, land degradation, demographic change, sparse settlements, community resilience, and regional sustainability in Southern Italy and Mediterranean contexts.
Within Wise Town, she strengthens the scientific and territorial grounding of the initiative, connecting sustainability, local knowledge, community resilience, and the long-term regeneration of places.
